The concept of Narcolepsy affected Vishal has drawn huge public attention. And this has turned to become the prime attraction of Naan Sigappu Manithan. We are introduced to a character named Indran played by Vishal Krishna.
A flashback opens up and we see his sufferings of Narcolepsy, a chronic neurological disorder caused by the brain’s inability to regulate sleep-wake cycles normally.
Whenever he faces extreme happiness and anger, Indran faints or falls asleep. In his diary, he has 10 must-do desires in his life. He has friends played by Jagan and Sundar Ramu.
His supportive mother (Saranya Ponvannan) helps in his journey and he fulfils his dreams one after the other. As expected, he comes across Meera (Lakshmi Menon), a girl from a rich family who falls in love with him.
Her father Jayaprakash opposes her love as he is worried about Vishal’s disease. At this stage, Lakshmi Menon decides to cure her beau’s disorder.
